The driver’s companion will also have to pass the sobriety test

A new law proposed by the government and that, surely, will bring controversy, will also force the pilots and companions of the drivers to blow on the breathalyzer test.

Even if the driver has not drunk, there should always be another alcohol-free person inside the vehicle in case the driver gets sick during the trip. For drivers traveling alone this law will not apply, but those who are accompanied must pass the breathalyzer test. In this way one of the companions can take his place. “We believe that it is the safest way to drive, nobody knows if something could happen to the driver during the journey and it is good that there is always a co-pilot available”

The new law will apply from next July 1, to make the roads safer during the summer that is approaching
